Specially designed axe steel, hardened from blade edge to the axe eye by newly developed treatment, guarantees longest durability and excellent cutting effect. In most axes the blade of the axe is distorted with each stroke. The blade of Iltis axes, however, is more flexible, reduces the danger of breaking considerably, compared to the so-called rigid axes.
