HipChain 2.0 (Metric) with Thread

This hands free measuring device is the perfect companion when working in challenging environments.  Just tie one end of the dispolsable/compostable thread to a tree/anchor, set the counter to zero and start walking.  As you go the Hip-Chain 2.0 will keep track of distance for you.  When you're done just cut the thread and move on. With a 5000m thread capacity, and a new mounting system this is the ligtest version yet.  Comes with one spool of thread.

The HipChain 2.0 distance measurer is simple to use and light to carry. With this device strapped to your waist, you have 5000 metres of measuring before a filament re-load is required. So simple to use, one operator, no line-of-sight or GPS signal is required. HipChain 2.0 comes packaged with a full cone of thread and a waist, belt ready to go. Buckle one on and do your field measurements in any weather! The reset knob of the distance counter is conveniently mounted externally. Easy to re-load, the case opens wide where the replacement cone's base simply interlocks with the case. Re-threading is very clear and the parts easily accessed.
